Jason just called in an update. He was finishing a 6.2 mile trail segment in
Joel Patenaude, Editor from Silent Sports magazine, had just left him to run back to his car... ADDENDUM, photo's added.
Jason said that his calves were very tight last night and this morning and it was difficult to get started, but that he was starting to get a second wind. He had a Culver's butter burger for lunch - obviously his stomach is doing great! Maybe that is what made him feel better?!? More butter burger's for everyone!
Dorgan checks and stretches a sore calf at the Conservation Corps-built cabin
North of Hwy 54 in Waupaca County.
The remaining miles for the day consist of about 14 miles of road, and then another trail segment. He expected to finish the day around 5:30pm.
On the Waupaca County Ice Age Trail
Tomorrow he will cross West over I-39 on Czech Ave and turn South
into an Interstate wayside. He will then attempt to climb over an 8 foot Deer fence (to save some distance) and join up with Dakota Ave.
