Who's checking on who?

First let me direct you to Tom Held at the Journal Sentinel who is also tracking Jason on his Blog, Off the Couch.For another perspective, take a read and then bookmark it... Jason calls in reports to Tom also. Here is an Audio update at the JS Online site.

So around 5pm yesterday (Sat) Jason called me (while he was running on the trail) to see how WE did in the Southern Illinios 80 mile River to River relay. 80 miles with 8 runners or 345 miles/Solo runner... It doesn't even compare! It was nice of him to check on us, but I was thinking, ...

now wait a second, we are supposed to be the ones who are checking up on you! But that is just how Jason is...

Jason said the run was going well and that Robert was running with him at the time - Robert would drive the car forward, and then run backwards on the trail until he met up with Jason and then would run with him to the car.... Now that's a dedicated crew!

P.S. By the way, our Madison team finished 23rd overall (of 240 teams) and 6th in the mixed (M/F) division. The other Madison teams finish 15th (Movin Shoes; the Elders), 16th (Run 'Til the Cows Come Home), and 91st (Madison Masters Blasters).
