Midday update

Jason called in an update over lunch. Lorraine Bunk and Tom Held ran with Jason earlier today. Tom is putting together a story for publication in the next couple of days - watch Tom's Blog and JS-Online.Jason was in good spirits and heading towards the Hartland Marsh preserve and the Holy Hill segmentafter completing the Lapham section. He expects to finish near Pikes lake today.

He is now North of the Southern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest (map) and should be in the Northern Unit (map)on Thursday.

Day 18, great day with lots of people

We finished 48 miles today for a total of 845 miles and ended at the trail head on Cty D just off of Cty C north of the Scuppernong trails. Just 5 days to go, oh man!

I am very tired, but still looking forward to Wednesday as it will bring a nice mixture of roads and trails. By starting off with mainly roads for the first 15 miles and ending with 33 miles of trails, the day was quite challenging.
