Day 13, It was a dark and stormy day...

OK, not so dark, but windy and rainy in any case... With the continued help of Tom Bunk (crewing) and the pacing help from Tim Goihl and Peter Wadsack we had a great day. We did 53.9 miles and ended at the John Muir trail north of Portage. We are just shy of 600 miles total and will plan to get through Devil’s Lake SP tomorrow. If it goes well we should finish at Hwy 113 south of the park...

A determined pace

Peter and I ran with Jason from about 12:45pm to 5:30pm today, and I figured out how he does it (well, part of it anyway)... He simply doesn't stop...

Tim Goihl and Peter Wadsack went up to run an afternoon with Jason on his quest. We left Madison in pouring rain. And we took the rain with us. Tom told us this was the first rain day of the run...

Day 12 done, never thought we would be successful today

Ended at Beechnut Drive on the trail section from Cty O.At 536.2 miles there is 543.8 miles to go. Pretty much half way now.

If I can average 50 miles per day then I will still finish on Sunday May 6th. There will be some days I may not be able to do that if there is a lot of trail, but time will tell. Today I hit a very low point when my sugar levels got low near the end of the day...
