tonight. The excess of roads was the only downside (30+). Tomorrow will be better with 37 miles of trail and 7 miles of road. It will still be a very long day though.
I wish there was more time to download pictures and audio, but it may have to wait. The

Ed: Local Chapter link that mentions Jason)section today and the trails were superb. We could actually run them without twisting an ankle. At about the half way section a reporter from
Eau Claire Channel 18 (Cassy) got some footage for the evening news. We of course did not get to see it but it should be on their website. Also,
Tom Held of the Journal Sentinel has a daily blog going too. All the publicity is good as we have had several people come out and meet us on the trail today.
Tom came out 4 times to meet me while running today. He is a continual source of encouragement. He says my ability to walk fast will be a big reason for my run's success.
My big deal now is my ankle, and not my left ankle that was my original concern, but my right ankle which has a flaired up tendon.
